It’s the first sponsorship of its kind for an individual Major League Baseball club, according to a Friday news release from MLB.
Under the deal, the Chicago-based wellness and beverage brand will have several activations within Wrigley Field, including baseline signage, in-game features and, in anther first for the Cubs, international marketing rights in the United Kingdom for the 2023 regular season.”

#psychedelics – “A former police officer whose office described him as “widely regarded as the most conservative member of the Massachusetts legislature” on Tuesday touted bills he’s filed to legalize certain psychedelic compounds and plant medicines including psilocybin and ecstasy.
Rep. Nicholas Boldyga, a Republican from Southwick, said he was moved to file the legislation by “overwhelming research related to the mental health benefits these compounds offer” and conversations with veterans and first responders who have used psychedelic plant medicines to address PTSD and other mental health challenges.”
#cannabislaw – “Three Floridians are asking the Eleventh Circuit to overturn an order dismissing their suit over a federal law that prohibits medical cannabis users from buying or owning guns, saying the trial court’s reasoning creates a “dangerous” slippery slope that could strip cannabis patients of other rights.
In a reply brief filed last week, Vera Cooper, Nicole Hansell and Neill Franklin told the appeals panel that reading the use of medical cannabis as grounds for removing them from “the people” named as protected in the Second Amendment would jeopardize rights under other provisions of the Bill of Rights, like the First Amendment, which also ascribes rights to “the people.”
Cooper and Hansell are two medical marijuana users in the state who said they are deprived of their right to purchase firearms. Franklin said he had declined to take part in the state cannabis program because it would curtail his rights under the Second Amendment.”
#cannabislaw – “The former CEOs of a cannabis-infused water company have pled not guilty to allegations that they were part of a $10 million pump-and-dump scheme that cost Ohio investors more than $219,000.
Zachary Davis and Ryan Fishoff, former CEOs of American Premium Water Corp., were arraigned Monday in Ohio federal court via Zoom in front of U.S. Magistrate Judge Jonathan D. Greenberg, and each entered a not guilty plea before Davis was released on a $50,000 bond, while Fishoff was released on a $100,000 bond.
Under the terms of his release, Fishoff must report to the Southern District of New York for supervision, turn over his passport, and can only travel to Ohio for the case, or to New Jersey or Connecticut to visit family.
Davis, similarly, must report to the Central District of California for supervision, turn over his passport, and can only travel to Ohio for the case. Both Fishoff and Davis are prohibited from trading stocks and securities without the court’s permission, and Davis was further ordered to avoid contact with his co-defendants.”
